What is the difference between a pergola and a gazebo?

A pergola is an open framework of posts and beams, often over a patio or walkway, giving structure and partial shade. A gazebo is a freestanding, usually roofed structure you sit under. We build both, bespoke, to suit the garden and how you want to use the space.
